Blair is a cross-sector innovator focused on helping companies establish the solid business foundations necessary to bring new technologies and ideas to the marketplace. He has deep expertise in manufacturing operations and analysis, raising capital and investment instruments, financial modeling, overall corporate strategy and human capital development.

After a 27-year career with Deloitte LLP, Blair joined T Base 4 Investments, the founder of Verdient Foods. He was appointed as CFO (2015 to 2020) and General Manager (2020) for Verdient Foods and ultimately led its sale to Ingredion Incorporated in in late 2020. Blair remains Canadian CFO for T Base 4 Investments and continues to serve Ingredion as a Senior Advisor. More recently, Blair is a General Partner of a new Canadian-based private equity fund seeking to raise $200M CAD for plant-based food and ingredient processors.
